Hendley Market, located in the historic Strand district
of Galveston, Texas, has been in business for over 30
years. We reside in in the first commercial building on The Strand, built in 1858. During the Civil War, the North and South used the building as a look out over the important cotton port. This is our 14th year on the Net. Items available are
antique medical instruments, antique books, Victorian era items,
and retablos from Mexico. We also carry a selection of over 200

We are located at 2010 Strand Galveston, Texas. Galveston Island is 50 ml. SE of Houston on I-45. The Strand area is made up of shops, restaurants and entertainment in buildings restored to their original Victorian styles. Galveston Island has great beaches and world-class fishing and bird watching. During the first weekend of December, the strand area is closed off and thousands of Victorian era costumed people enjoy shows, food and parades.
